The University at Albany's summer program at AIP Language Institute was developed for students who want to learn about Spanish culture while developing their language skills.

This six-week long program features intensive Spanish language and culture studies at beginning, intermediate, and advanced levels taught by a Spanish faculty. Students receive 6 credits. For University at Albany students, the credits will equal one full year of college-level Spanish study. Non-Albany students should check with their home campus for equivalents.

The coursework, the cultural excursions and field trips with the group, and the interaction with Spaniards outside the classroom combine to give the students an invaluable experience.

FALL & SPRING SEMESTERS

The Valencia program, sponsored by the AIP Language Institute, is designed for students with beginning and intermediate Spanish proficiency who want to learn about Spanish culture and business while developing their language skills.

The classes, cultural excursions and field trips with the group, and your interaction with Spaniards outside the classroom combine to give you an invaluable experience.

Our program features intensive Spanish language courses at beginning, intermediate, and advanced levels taught by Spanish faculty at the AIP Language Institute.
Additional courses, taught in English, are offered in a variety of subjects, including culture, literature, art, history, and business. These courses usually carry lower-division credit.
Univ. at Albany offers on-site support through the AIP Language Institute. Their staff is available to help you with any academic and personal concerns that may arise while you are on our program. AIP will arrange your courses, housing, and cultural excursions; they can advise you on extracurricular activities, health care, and travel opportunities and help with the adjustment to daily life in Spain.
