Through the Center, located in Trujillo, the College of Charleston offers students the opportunity to study Spanish and experience Spanish culture in two programs annually. The first is a twelve-week spring semester-long program studying intermediate and advanced Spanish, Spanish Civilization and Literature. Normally, two additional courses in other disciplines are offered in English. Students live with families in Trujillo and have the opportunity to travel. The second program is a five week summer program studying intermediate and advanced Spanish. Students in this program also live with local families and travel in Spain. Classes are held at the Convento de la Coria in Trujillo.
