The program starts with a 3 to 4-day mandatory orientation. This orientation is both practical and cultural, including information sessions about IFSA-Butler regulations, safety, housing rules, academic regulations and the difference between US and Spanish systems, a city tour of Alcalá and an excursion to Madrid.
