show the modern extraction process explaining the healthy
properties and other beneficial aspects of the olive oil,

texture of 5 olive oil types from different Andalusian provinces.

- Forum Portland Conference Dates Announced. The
Forum is pleased to announce the dates for its 2009 annual
conference to be held in Portland, Oregon: February 18 –
20, 2009. The Conference Hotel will be the Hilton Portland
and Executive Tower located in the heart of downtown Portland.
More specific information about the conference program and
a call for session proposals will be announced in early
June. All of the Forum member institutions in the northwest
will serve as host institutions for the conference, including
Gonzaga University, Lewis and Clark College, Linfield College,
the Oregon University System, Pacific Lutheran University,
Seattle University, University of Puget Sound, Whitman College,
Whitworth University, and Willamette University. “We
are pleased to have so many dedicated Forum member institutions
in the northwest that will help to make the Portland Conference

- Nuestra casa está situada en calle Guzmán
el Bueno, nº 111, casi esquina con Cea Bermudez. Metro
Islas Filipinas Línea 7. Lineas de autobuses varias
2, 202, C, 44, 12. Nuestra familia se compone de cuatro
miembros, mi esposo y yo, y una niña y un niño
de 9 y 3 años respectivamente. La casa tiene dos
baños y el dormitorio disponible se encuentra bastante
aislado de posibles molestias que la vida cotidiana puediera
ocasionar al estudiante durante su estudio. Como mi esposo
y yo trabajamos, nos gustaría, si es posible, que
el régimen fuese de desayuno y cena, ya que durante
el horario de comidas, no nos da tiempo a comer con él/ella.
Siendo posible una cena familiar cada noche, para favorecer
su aprendizaje del idioma. También estamos interesados
en acoger estudiantes durante los meses de

- Tengo una habitación con cuarto de baño
para poder alojar a un estudiante en régimen familiar,
ya que mi hijo mayor se ha independizado. Tendría
desayuno y cena además de limpieza de ropa, habitación
y baño, porque tengo una asistenta. Vivo con mi hijo

da a un patio muy silencioso. Tiene una cama de 90X1'90,
una mesa de estudio, un sofá, un armario empotrado
y una estantería de tres cuerpos con cajones, armarios

en una casa con 4 habitaciones y 3 cuartos de baño.
Está muy bien comunicada: a 100 metros está
la estación de metro "Estrella" y hay varios
autobuses que llevan al centro. El piso está junto
al Parque de Roma y a las piscinas de la Comunidad de Madrid

Student will be required to be covered by a medical insurance
during the internship period. In the case that the student’s
medical insurance policy does not have the same coverage
required for SUMC students, the student will be required
to participate at his/her own expense, in SUMC International
Health Insurance. During the 07-08 Academic year the cost
of SUMC International Health Insurance was 45.54 Euros
a month. Student is responsible for his/her own airfare

There has never been a better time to apply for a Gilman
Scholarship! More scholarships than ever before will be
awarded during the 2008-2009 academic year.
The Gilman International Scholarship Program provides
awards of up to $5,000 for U.S. undergraduate students
to study abroad for up to one academic year. The program
aims to diversify the kinds of student who study abroad
and the countries and regions where they go. The program
serves students who have been under-represented in study
abroad which includes but is not limited to: students
with high financial need, community college students,
students in under-represented fields such as the sciences
and engineering, students from diverse ethnic backgrounds,
students attending minority-serving institutions, and
students with disabilities. The Gilman Program seeks to
assist students from a diverse range and type of two-year
and four-year public and private institutions from all
50 states.
Eligibility: Students must be receiving a Federal Pell
Grant at the time of application or at the time of study
abroad and cannot be studying abroad in a country under
a U.S. Department of State Travel Warning or in Cuba.
