IES ABROAD - SALAMANCA

Semester, full-year, and summer options available. IES Abroad courses in Art History, History, Spanish Language, and Literature, Political Science, Education, Religion, Photography, Psychology, Film Studies and Sociology. Opportunity to enroll in courses at the Universidad de Salamanca and at the Universidad Pontificia de Salamanca in all areas . IES Abroad courses taught in Spanish and in English by IES Abroad Salamanca faculty. Field trips to such sites as Segovia, Toro and Zamora, Sevilla, Granada, Portugal and Cantabria. During Fall, IES Abroad students also walk “The Way of St. James” as a different field trip. During Spring IES Salamanca organizes a 3-day nature trip through the Sanabria Lake Park Nature Reserve. Internship opportunities as teaching assistants in Spanish Primary and Secondary Schools during the spring semester and Service Learning opportunities during fall semester. Housing in Spanish homes with señoras or families and Residence Halls.
