En esta XIII edición del Encuentro entre Universidades Españolas y Norteamericanas we want to address how to maintain the connection of students with the Spanish language and culture. Especially in a period in which they are permanently connected with their country of origin through social networks, and in a university environment in which the offer of courses in English is forever increasing. The meeting will take place at the Universidad de Alicante.
Proponemos reflexionar sobre cómo adaptar la enseñanza de lengua y cultura, sin perder su esencia, para preparar a los estudiantes para un entorno global cambiante, y sobre la necesidad de mantener un vínculo lingüístico y cultural en estudios en inglés.
APUNE will offer a special workshop on strengthening relations between Spanish universities and those of the United States. It will take place on Feburuary 27 and will include presentations and break-out sessions.

The conference will also explore how to facilitate students integration into a world of work that is constantly demanding new skills and abilities, while providing them with resilience and adaptability.
